Came to this band very late and I must confess only because they were playing various dates with one of my firm favs Kaprekar’s Constant so I thought I’d better take a listen to what they had on offer...and well I now have all three albums and a huge convert...so much so that the neighbours will get to know them too over the next few weeks...if you ever get a chance to watch them live...you are in for a big treat...they command the stage and the audience as their own... Interesting and eclectic work from this German band. Traces of Renaissance and Curved Air give way to a modern Symphonic Prog mix with an excellent production. Paul Ronayne
To me, "Trip The Life Fantastic" was a must-buy on "Bandcamp Friday" this time. It's one of the few "Drifting Sun" albums not already found in my collection, and an essential one, because it marks the beginning of the prolific collaboration of composer/keyboardist Pat Sanders and lyricist/singer Peter Falconer, which was, in my opinion, the best creative pairing the band ever had.
